What are the eligibility requirements for this program?

Successful applicants have completed a Bachelor of Science: 4 yr undergraduate degree or a 3yr undergraduate degree + Masters from a regionally accredited accredited institution in a closely related field that includes coursework in calculus with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher on a 4.0 scale.Please consult the eligibility section for more information.

What are the English proficiency and other requirements for this program?

What are STEM and OPT?

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Students studying in a STEM-designated program can apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT), allowing them to work for 12 months in the US after completing the degree program. The STEM designation of the CSU ME makes students eligible for an additional 24-month STEM OPT extension. With up to 36 months more time to work and network in the US, international students can build valuable professional skills and contacts to help them with their career endeavors.
