Leap Advantage has partnered with University of Detroit Mercy to bring its much sought-after MS in Applied Data Analytics program to students in India via hybrid mode. The program focuses on applying skills gained through Data Analytics and building a strong foundation in business. Through hands-on experience, students learn in an environment balanced to provide the right mix of academic expertise and industry experience.

What are the eligibility requirements for the program?

The minimum eligibility requirements for this program is an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited academic institution with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher. 

What are the English proficiency and other requirements for the program?

The English proficiency test requirements are: TOEFL (80) or IELTS (6.0), or Duolingo (105). GRE/GMAT scores are waived for students applying through Leap Advantage.

What is STEM and OPT?

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. International Master of Science in Applied Data Analytics students can apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT), allowing them to work for 12 months in the US after completing the program. The STEM designation of the MS in Applied Data Analytics program makes students eligible for an additional 24-month OPT extension. With up to 36 months more time to work and network in the US, international students can build valuable professional skills and contacts to help them with their career endeavours.

Can Students work during their studies in the US?

Yes, international students on an F-1 visa can work up to 20 hours per week on-campus during the academic semesters. Specific immigration regulations and information will be provided during international student orientation.

Do you accept a 15-year education from India?

Yes, we accept students with a 15-year education, i.e. a technical or a non-technical 3-year degree background.
