MTU's Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering program is housed in one of the country's largest mechanical engineering departments, with an eleven story building and over 50,000 square feet of modern labs and computer facilities. The mechanical engineering curriculum is a STEM-designated 30-credit program that comprises six months in India and one year on campus in Michigan, United States.
Within the required 30 credits of coursework, students can simultaneously earn a graduate certificate in an area of interest. US Edition | Semester 2 & 3 | On Campus
Students transfer out to the US and spend the 2nd and 3rd semesters on campus.

Students will graduate with a degree from the US university and be eligible to apply for a 3-year post-study work visa called Optional Practical Training (OPT).

Eligibility for MS in Mechanical Engineering
An undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related technical field from a regionally accredited academic institution with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
3 and 4-year bachelor's degree holders are eligible to apply.
English proficiency test: IELTS (6.5) or TOEFL (79).
GRE/GMAT scores are waived for students applying through Leap Advantage.
