The Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics prepares students to be productive contributors in many professions dealing with complex data, in particular those that relate to the ethical collection, exploration and preparation of multi-modal data, the design of analytics models to extract knowledge from data, and the effective communication of data analysis results to company leaders and decision-makers. Students will have the flexibility to choose electives and develop a plan of study according to their career goals and interests.

- Completed a Bachelor of Science: 3 year undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- English proficiency test: IELTS (6.5) TOEFL (79) Duolingo (105), PTE (53)
- GRE waived off for Leap Advantage students
- All applicants are eligible for the Merit Scholarship based on GRE Scores
- Pre requisite courses: Statistics, Matrix Methods/Linear Algebra, Basic calculus, Introductory computer programming
- If a student is missing statistics or matrix methods they can be admitted with the requirement to take DSA 500 - a bridge course that is in addition to the 33 credits of the MS DSA Degree Requirements

We have partnered with the State University of New York Polytechnic Institute, New York's premier public polytechnic, to create pathways for Indian students to earn a Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics (MS DSA) in a hybrid format. The MS DSA program prepares students to be productive contributors in many professions dealing with complex data, in particular those that relate to the ethical collection, exploration and preparation of multi-modal data, the design of analytics models to extract knowledge from data, and the effective communication of data analysis results to company leaders and decision-makers.
Successful applicants have completed a Bachelor of Science: 3 yr undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Scholarship available as per the GRE Score:
Scholarship: Category 1 - $8,000 Scholarship ($4,000 per semester up to a maximum of two
semesters)
• A minimum CGPA of 90% - 100%
• English proficiency test score: English proficiency test score: A minimum of 79 in
TOEFL/6.5 Overall Band of IELTS/105 Duolingo/53 PTE
Scholarship: Category 2 - $7,500 Scholarship ($3,750 per semester up to a maximum of two

Applicants to SUNY Poly must demonstrate English language proficiency by achieving the minimum score noted below from one of the following standardized exams:

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Students studying in a STEM-designated program can apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT), allowing them to work for 12 months in the US after completing the degree program. The STEM designation of the degree makes students eligible for an additional 24-month STEM OPT extension.
